Waybills and labels

Download a waybill PDF for a shipment, list the waybills of your recent shipments, and print carrier labels as PDF or ZPL.

A waybill is the document that goes with a shipment. It tells the driver and the receiver what moves, from where, to where, and for which customer.

What a waybill holds

Cargopilot makes the waybill from the shipment record. Thus you do not type the data again. A waybill holds:

  • the waybill number and the date
  • the code of the delivery plan, if the shipment is in one
  • the logo of your business
  • the customer details
  • the shipment details and the weight
  • the pickup address and the delivery address
  • a mark if the shipment needs approval

Download a waybill

In the portal, open the Waybills page, select a shipment, and select Download.

With the API, send GET /api/waybill/download/{shipmentId}. The response is a PDF file. Add ?inline=true to show the PDF in the browser, not to save it as a file.

List the waybills

GET /api/waybills returns the waybill data of the 100 most recent shipments of the business. Use it to show a list of waybills in your own tool, for example on a tablet in the warehouse.

Carrier labels

When Cargopilot books a shipment with a carrier, it stores the label of the carrier on the shipment. Download the label as PDF for an office printer, or as ZPL for a thermal label printer, for example a Zebra printer. You can print the labels of a full delivery run in one batch.
